Fitness Trainers

Melanie Schneider

Certifications: ACSM Exercise Physiologist,  American Red Cross CPR, AED & First Aid, Les Mills GRIT, Coach by Color Cycling, Rock Steady Boxing Coach
Education: Bachelors Degree of Science with a major in Kinesiology; University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
Specialties: Behavior/Lifestyle Change, Functional Strength and Athletic Training, Special Populations
Philosophy: As a trainer, I believe in the importance of incorporating both cardiovascular and strength training into a daily workout, while designing it toward the needs and goals of the member. I’m able to do this by constructing a workout plan for full body strength training, while adding in a few cardiovascular exercises throughout the workout, to spike the heart rate. As a former collegiate athlete, I also believe in the important of youth strength training and injury prevention. Through plyometric and agility training, I focus on developing athletes through sports specific movements to strengthen and condition the body.

Hannah Julka

Certifications: ACSM Personal Trainer, American Red Cross CPR/AED, Rock Steady Boxing Coach
Education: BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise and Fitness; University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
Specialties: Functional Training, Corrective Exercise, General Health and Weight Management
Interests/Hobbies: Leading an active lifestyle and hanging out with her husband and golden retreiver.
Philosophy: I have a passion for finding my clients' motivators and pushing them to be their very best. Whether regaining strength, toning or working with an athlete to prepare for an upcoming season, I love to help people achieve their goals. I believe with hard work and accountability anything is possible. Giving clients a strong foundation of exercises that can be performed at the gym or at home, even with limited equipment, helps them reach goals. If I can help my clients enjoy working out and leading a healthier lifestyle from our work together, I could not be happier.

Judi Goeden

Education: BA in Dance and Kinesiology, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee

Specialties: Mind-Body Fitness, Special Populations, Corrective Exercise
Hobbies/Interests: Outdoor adventure, cycling for the mildly obsessed, spending time with my family, gardening and dancing.
Philosophy: Fitness has to be fun and have a social aspect, or it’s just exercise. Even hard effort can be a positive experience when it’s approached with the openness to learn. My training approach is to work with clients to find the right combination of physical activity, intensity, mental focus and a healthy approach to nutrition to create a personalized recipe for success. A functional approach to training is to not focus on training individual muscles, but the entire body by enhancing natural movement patterns. At all ages and levels of fitness, I believe we can all improve our wellness and live a more productive life.

Education: BS in Exercise Fitness, University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh
Specialties: Core Focused Training, Exercise Before/During/After Pregnancy, Balance and Multi-Muscle Movement

I help people decrease their chances of getting high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, obesity and low back pain. Because of my degenerative disc disease, I have great knowledge and awareness in keeping the low back safe during every movement performed in classes or while personal training.

Lynn Paulow

Certifications: American Council on Exercise Personal Trainer, IMX Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor, TRX Trainer, Kinesis Trainer, Advanced Cancer Exercise Specialist
Education: University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point
Specialties: Strength Training, Behavior and Lifestyle Change, Exercise Rehabilitation
Hobbies/Interests: Passionate about teaching fitness classes that include TRX, strength, cycling and Pilates. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and making new playlists for my group ex classes. I like to bake, but I'd much rather watch my husband do the cooking.
Philosophy: For 35+ years I have shown how exercise is a joy, a gift, an opportunity. I want others to get to the point where they do it for the love of it, for empowerment, for destressing, for the health of it....not to lose ten pounds in 7 days. Exercise is as much physical as it is emotional. I strive to take the intimidation factor out of fitness by providing a personalized touch. Sometimes all you need is a little support and friendship to keep you motivated and accountable.
