Quick Welcome and Introduction on Day

Set your intentions for a full day of mind and body experiences during a brief welcome event. We’ll meet Dr. Bryan K. Williams, our emcee for the day, and our non-profit partner, Mental Health America. The organization, which has served Sheboygan County since 1953, will give a brief overview of the work they do in our community.

Breathwork & Meditation

This class will focus on flow, balance, seated series, and floor postures to prepare for meditation and breath work.

  • BOLD ride with Lauren Hydock – Bold Cycle 
    A 30-minute indoor cycling class that features high-intensity cardio, hand weights, and music-based choreography. We warm up, ride through hills, sprints, and end with a yogic cool down. Expect to be out of the saddle for most of your ride.
  • Soul Sculpt with Sara Smith – Yoga on the Lake Hot 
    A 30-minute yoga-inspired high intensity class that incorporates hand weights and cardio bursts to burn calories and build lean muscle mass to strengthen your yoga practice.  Soul Sculpt is geared for the “gym focused” yogi who loves to sweat, build endurance, strengthen muscles & jam to high energy music.
  • Vinyasa Yoga with Carrie Green  – Yoga on the Lake
    This is an open formatted Vinyasa class geared toward all levels. Some yoga experience is recommended, though the instructor will give options for modifications to various postures. This class will strengthen, detoxify, and invigorate your body, mind, and spirit. The class will be interlaced with the sound of the harmonium to direct the mind toward positivity and receptivity.
  • BODYCOMBAT workout with Heather Pelletiere – Arts Space Plaza 
    Punch and kick your way towards your fitness goals. Not only is it a great whole-body workout for cardio fitness, it’s also superb for burning fat, releasing stress and improving co-ordination. 
  • Speed Walk with Lynn Paulow – WellHUB
    Get your body moving with a fast-paced, intense, calorie-burning workout as you enjoy the sights throughout the Village of Kohler.  


The Great Age Reboot – Session I

9:15–10:15am | WellHUB

The Great Age Reboot is coming and coming fast. Here’s how to look, feel, and plan for being 40 at calendar age 90.  

  1. Understand why 90 is likely to be the new 40.

  2. Adopt behaviors that change three outcomes so you will live younger longer.

  3. Educate your friends and family about the benefits of longevity.

  4. Educate your team and patients about the mechanisms and benefits of longevity so they can increase beneficial outcomes now.

  5. Give yourself a head start on a younger tomorrow.

Set to an endorphin-rushing playlist, our signature conditioning class energizes interval training with a modern-day step aerobics class. This workout will leave you dripping and on a workout high like you’ve never experienced.

Be a Mountain Climber: Key Tips to Overcome any Barrier

This session will review the mindset and behaviors necessary to effectively address professional or personal barriers.  Special emphasis will be on ten proven tips to take control of your efforts and transcend any obstacles in your path.

 

Sustainability

Kayla will share her personal health journey and some key connections she has discovered between human health and our environment. She will highlight some key sustainability actions we can take to introduce the seamless way our environment is truly in a symbiotic relationship with our own human wellbeing. This will be explored through the lens of physical, mental, and emotional health and guide attendees to realize and embrace the connection between our own wellness and that of our environment.

  • Mental Wellness: Emotional Expression and Connection

    Presenter: Lisa Tutskey, LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

    Often we feel the need to run, or distract ourselves, from our emotions. Instead, it can be helpful and healing to feel and experience them. We are also very disconnected from others in our modern world. Connection with others is vital to well-being. The presentation will focus on the importance of emotion and connection in maintaining mental wellness.
  • Reiki Energy Healing & Manifestation of the Law of Attraction
    2:15–2:45pm – Yoga on the Lake
    Presenters: Kimberly Hoffmann & Lisa Korff

    Come learn about energy healing and the manifestation of the Law of Attraction. Reiki is more than just a form of relaxation and stress reduction. Reiki is your connection to the Divine Source, your God, Universal consciousness. Being present here today you are allowing us to hold the space for your Divine wellness and worthiness as this is your Divine birthright. As we live in a Universe of Law of Attraction and everything is energy what you place your focus on your intention-on will manifest into your reality. It is the law of the Universe!
  • Nature Hike + Journal + Forest Bathing
    2:15–3:30pm – Outdoor Yoga Platform
    Presenters: Megan Drevline & Rachel Haas

    This wellness journey will start with a guided hike through River Wildlife; a great way to connect to nature and reconnect to yourself. Once arriving to your destination, you will be immersed in nature and guided through a forest bathing experience, a practice of taking in the forest’s atmosphere through all the senses. This practice is a   potent proven method for relieving stress, boosting mood and immunity, and fostering deeper bonds with nature. The opportunity to journal will be available and then be led back to the event.

  • D.I.E.T: Did I Eat That? Intentional eating and mindfulness

    Presenter: Deb Guenterberg, MS, RDN, CD Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Prevea

    Mindful eating is a learned trait. It takes time, patience and consistency but it can help you be more aware of your eating habits. Why do you eat? Hunger is just one reason, but there may be so many other reasons. Did you ever explore your hunger or fullness cues? If these questions pique your interest, then this session will provide you with a few first steps in becoming a more mindful eater.  
  • Art Therapy
    3–3:30pm – Bold Cycle
    Presenters: Christy Myers & Dana Bear, Mental Health America

    Join artist Christy Myer in the creation of four ink-dyed coasters  to take home with you from your weekend of wellness. With Christy’s guidance and your creativity, you will create an expressive, functional piece of art for your home or workspace. You will also walk away with the knowledge to replicate the experience with your family and friends. The act of creating art will bring you to mindfulness. The story of the artist and the art itself can serve as a powerful tool to raise awareness about topics that are forgotten, stigmatized, and sometimes misunderstood.
  • Digital Wellness & Your Skin: How To Stay Well In Our Digital World
    3–3:30pm – Kohler Waters Spa Café

    Presenter: Celeste Hilling, Skin Authority

    We all know that sun exposure damages our skin, but did you know that 80% of aging is due to environmental & digital damage not solely sun exposure? Exposure to blue light and wireless technology advances signs of aging such as wrinkles, discoloration and inflammatory response and causes issues related to eye and brain health. Skin Authority’s Founder & CEO, Celeste Hilling, will share the latest research on how digital devices are just as impactful as the sun! Learn 3 ways for staying skin healthy and well in our digitally immersed world. This breakout includes a guided simple, 3 step digital protection skincare routine.

Vibrational Sound Bath

4:45–5:30pm – WellHUB

Presenter: Jenny Bergold

Immerse yourself in the healing sounds of three Paiste gongs tuned to the planets Uranus, Jupiter, and the Moon. Uranus to balance emotions and hormones. Jupiter to open and nourish the heart center. And the Moon to awaken intuition and connection to divinity.

 

Based on ancient wisdom, the gong vibrates at the same frequency as the body allowing the body to heal itself. The gong balances the central nervous system and aids in deep meditation.

 

Singing crystal and Tibetan bowls will also be added to raise the vibration and heighten the experience.
